Today’s gardens need to do multiple jobs: conserve water, create wildlife habitat, and be beautiful and inviting spaces.  Longer and drier summers are requiring a shift in the plant selection, siting, and installation methods to create and sustain these new types of gardens. Water usage in our urban areas is becoming more expensive and we need to create a new gardening paradigm.
